Matt Friedman
Matt Friedman is a leading global expert on human trafficking, with over 29 years of experience in program design, frontline response, and international advocacy. He currently serves as CEO of The Mekong Club, a Hong Kong-based organization uniting business leaders to combat modern slavery across Asia. Previously, Matt was Regional Project Manager for the UN Inter-Agency Project on Human Trafficking (UNIAP), coordinating efforts across six countries. He also worked with USAID in South and Southeast Asia, designing anti-trafficking initiatives in Thailand, Bangladesh, and Nepal. A trusted advisor to governments and corporations, Matt is also the author of eleven books on human rights and social change.
